Day 1
We depart the local area and make a stop for lunch before arriving at the 4* The Queen at Chester Hotel mid-afternoon, ready to settle in and get acquainted with the facilities on site.
|Day 2
Spend the day in Chester and explore all the wonderful history this city has to offer. To start the day, we enjoy a relaxing cruise along the River Dee. With the rest of the day at leisure you could visit Chester's remarkable Cathedral with Europe's finest example of medieval carvings, the unique 700-year-old Rows galleries of shops, the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain, or the most complete City Walls in Britain.
Day 3
After a leisurely breakfast we make our way to Liverpool, where there is plenty to do. Visit the many world class museums and galleries, visit the city's 2 Cathedrals, take a cruise across the river Mersey, or indulge in some retail therapy.
|Day 4
Today we head to the Wirral peninsular. The first stop is the historic and idyllic garden village of Port Sunlight, which was built in the late 19th century by Lord Lever as a home for his soap factory workers. Today there are over 900 grade II listed buildings, which we will discover on a guided coach tour. The next stop is the wonderful Ness Botanic Gardens, originally created in 1898 by Arthur Kilpin Bulley, this stunning garden showcases his passion, with more than 15,000 plants from all over the world.

We depart after a leisurely breakfast and return home with a stop on route, arriving back late afternoon.
